St. Croix Wedding Photography
Your day. Your story.
Made permanent.
St. Croix is one of the most extraordinary places in the world to get married — the light here is different. It hits the water at a particular angle that turns an ordinary afternoon into something golden and cinematic. George Armstrong Jr. has been photographing this island since 2008, and that intimacy with its light, its landscapes, and its culture shows in every frame.
Whether your ceremony is on a private estate, a historic beachfront resort, or a cliffside overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the approach is the same: be present, move quietly, and document what actually happens between the people who matter most to you. Not the posed version. The real version.
GAJ Photography serves couples marrying across all three main U.S. Virgin Islands — St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John — as well as elopements, intimate ceremonies, and larger celebrations throughout the Caribbean. Wedding collections start at $1,000 for intimate ceremonies and scale to full-day coverage with a second photographer.
"The best wedding photographs come from presence, patience, and genuine connection."
George Armstrong Jr.

Common Questions
St. Croix Wedding Photography FAQ
Do you photograph weddings on other islands — St. Thomas and St. John?
Yes. George photographs weddings throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands including St. Thomas, St. John, and Water Island. Travel within the territory is included in wedding collections.
Which wedding venues in St. Croix do you work at most often?

How far in advance should I book for a destination wedding in St. Croix?
For peak season (November through April), booking 6–12 months in advance is recommended. Off-season dates (May through October) can sometimes be secured with 3–6 months notice. A 25% non-refundable deposit reserves your date.
Are you available for elopements and intimate ceremonies in St. Croix?
Absolutely. The USVI is one of the most beautiful settings in the world for an intimate elopement — beach ceremonies, historic estate settings, and golden-hour cliffside portraits. The Love Story collection starts at $1,000 and is designed for intimate ceremonies.
Do you also photograph portrait sessions and brand photography in St. Croix?
Yes — portraits, maternity, couples, headshots, and brand photography are all available. Sessions are offered throughout St. Croix including beachside, estate, and urban Christiansted settings.
What is the best time of year to get married in St. Croix?
