Business Hours

Communications (texts, calls, messaging) are available Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Photo sessions are available Sunday through Saturday. Please contact GAJ on Facebook to schedule an appointment.

Booking & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total session fee is due at the time of booking and is required to reserve your session on the agreed date and time. This fee is non-refundable even if the date or time changes or if the session is canceled. Acceptable payment: PayPal, Zelle, or cash (unless otherwise approved by GAJ). Your date and time are not officially reserved until the deposit is received.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Cancellations or reschedules must be communicated via Facebook Messenger or direct text and acknowledged by GAJ at least 48 hours before the session date. If rescheduling, you have 30 days from the original session date before the session expires. Expired or canceled sessions forfeit the deposit — no refunds or credits will be issued. A new deposit is required to rebook.

Late Arrival

Please arrive at your scheduled start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late, the session time may be extended (schedule permitting) at an additional 25% of the total session cost. Refunds or credits are not available for sessions cut short or missed due to late arrival.

Payment — Sessions

The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the shoot. Acceptable payment: PayPal, Zelle, or cash (unless otherwise approved by GAJ). Pre-arranged payment plans are available upon request with terms set by GAJ. Final images will not be released until 100% of the balance is paid in full. A minimum 25% fee of the total order will be added to the remaining balance for every scheduled payment missed.

Gallery & Image Selection

Within 48 hours of your session, you will receive a password-protected Pixieset link with unedited images. You will have 48 hours from the date the link is sent to select the images you want edited (the number of edits depends on your package). If no selections are made within 48 hours, GAJ will select the best images. Additional edits are available at the rate outlined in your package.

Final Image Delivery

Final edited images will be delivered via a password-protected Pixieset link within 10 business days after the 48-hour post-shoot ordering period, provided full payment has been received. Images remain available for 10 calendar days after delivery. Additional edit requests during that window are available at the cost outlined in your package.

Image & Edit Changes

If you request changes to images after the editing process is complete, there is a $15 fee per image. Additional images edited beyond your package are charged at the package rate.

Social Media

You may share final edited images on social media. Do not screenshot, copy, download, or capture images by any other method. Please tag and credit GAJ Photography in the caption of all photographs uploaded to social media.

Copyright & Image Use

GAJ owns all copyrights for every image produced during the session, including the right to reproduce or publicly display images for personal or commercial purposes without compensation to or prior notification of the client. These rights are retained in perpetuity regardless of possession of digital files or any other format. Copyright violations without written consent from GAJ may be pursued through legal channels.

Privacy Requests

GAJ reserves the right to use session images for portfolio and promotional purposes. If you wish to keep your images private, a privacy fee (set at GAJ's discretion) may apply to cover the monetary loss to the artist. Once paid, GAJ agrees not to use your images for any public purpose including the website portfolio and any online or print advertising.

Travel Fees

For locations off St. Croix but within the U.S. Virgin Islands, the client is responsible for transportation fees only. For locations outside the U.S.V.I., please request a custom quote — the client may be responsible for expenses including but not limited to airfare, hotel, local transportation, and a per diem food stipend.

Location Fees & Permits

If your chosen location charges for access or requires permits, you are responsible for all associated fees (entrance, parking, permits) and for arranging access. GAJ is limited by the guidelines of any given location. If GAJ recommends a location that charges an access fee, you are only responsible for your own access fee.

Weather & Light

GAJ reserves the right to reschedule a session due to weather conditions including rain, wind, extreme temperatures, and similar conditions. In sessions where natural light is absent, GAJ may use artificial light sources at their discretion — resulting images may differ from natural light images. Images are not subject to rejection on the basis of taste, aesthetic criteria, or personal appearance.

Cooperation

The photographer is not responsible for the behavior of parties involved in the shoot beyond GAJ's own personnel. If the desired outcome of your session is affected by the behavior of others, GAJ cannot be held responsible. The client agrees to assist and cooperate with the photographer including specifying persons and scenes to photograph, posing at the photographer's direction, providing a guide if needed, and completing pre-shoot consultations.

Wedding Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total wedding package is due at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable even if the date or time changes or if the contract is canceled. Acceptable payment: PayPal, Zelle, or cash (unless otherwise approved by GAJ). Your date is not officially reserved until the deposit and contract are both received.

Final Payment

The remaining balance of the chosen package — including all necessary expenses specified in the contract (e.g., travel, hotel) — is due one day before the wedding date. No photography will take place and no rights are granted until full payment is made.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made in writing and acknowledged by GAJ at least 30 days before the wedding date. The initial deposit is non-refundable in all cases. If canceled less than 30 days from the scheduled date, the client forfeits all payments made to GAJ in addition to the non-refundable deposit. Failure to make the final payment by the day before the wedding will deem the session canceled.

Gallery & Image Selection

Within 3 days of your wedding, you will receive a password-protected Pixieset link with unedited images. You will have 7 days from the date the link is sent to select images for editing. If no selections are made within 7 days, GAJ will choose the best images to edit. Additional edits are available at the rate outlined in your package.

Final Image Delivery

Final edited wedding images will be delivered within 60 calendar days after the 7-day post-shoot ordering period, provided full payment has been received.

Scheduling & Timeline

GAJ and the client will collaborate on all schedules and coverage arrangements well in advance of the wedding date. No alterations to the coverage timeline may be made by the client, wedding planner, DJ, or other vendor without coordination with the photography team. If you, your wedding party, guests, or family arrive late, alter the planned photography schedule, or if scheduling is changed by another vendor or unforeseen circumstances, GAJ may not be able to capture all planned images — and in that event, GAJ is relieved of any liability.
